Stars from Star Wars and Euphoria have joined the cast of a new Apple TV film
Sydney Sweeney from Euphoria and Domhnall Gleeson from Star Wars have been cast in Apple TV+’s forthcoming feature Echo Valley.
Echo Valley, starring Julianne Moore from The Hunger Games, tells the story of Kate Garretson (Moore), a lady who spends her time at a rural Southeastern Pennsylvania farm training horses following a personal tragedy. (via Deadline).
The plot twist occurs when her daughter Claire (Sweeney) arrives at the farm, horrified and covered in someone else’s blood. But how far is Kate willing to go to safeguard her child?
Along with Moore and Sweeney, Gleeson plays a local criminal who wrecks Kate’s life by confronting her with family secrets.
Brad Ingelsby (Mare of Easttown) wrote the script, which will be directed by Michael Pearce. Ridley Scott (House of Gucci) will manage production through his business Scott Free Productions, together with Michael Pruss, Ingelsby, and Kevin Walsh.
Sweeney is best known for her appearances in HBO’s Euphoria and The White Lotus, and she can presently be seen in Reality as whistleblower Reality Winner, which covers the tale of Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential elections.
