Louis Leterrier, the director of Fast & Furious 10, teases in the movie about characters changing allegiances, suggesting significant adjustments to Dom Toretto’s “la familial.”
In the movie, actor Louis Leterrier makes clues about characters changing sides. In his most recent journey, Dominic Toretto’s “la familia” will gain new allies, serving as the beginning of the Fast Saga’s climax. Along with Jason Momoa’s Dante, his new dangerous adversary, he might also need to exercise caution around some of his allies.
Leterrier hints at potential crew changes in the upcoming Fast X in an interview with Screen Rant. The filmmaker claims that during the events of Fast X, Dom’s pals, and enemies can switch allegiances. Below is his complete quote:
Fast X features a number of new characters, including Tess, played by Brie Larson, who was recently revealed to be the daughter of Mr. Nobody. Agent Aimes, played by Alan Ritchson, is Mr. Nobody’s new deputy, and Isabel, played by Daniela Melchior, is a Brazilian street car racer with ties to Dom’s past. It is anticipated that all of these new participants will support the existing “la familial.”
Who will betray Dom in Fast X?
The dissolution of Dom’s tribe is the most intriguing prospect in this scenario. He has been guaranteed for years that the team will support him wholeheartedly in all of his endeavors — even during his most difficult period in Fate of the Furious. Currently, it appears like “la familia” will experience real disagreements, which could result in the termination of its existing lineup in Fast X. Given how strong their relationship has been for so long, it will be intriguing to see what kind of problem might eventually cause them to split up and whether they can still resolve their disagreements in the future.
After Fast X, Dom and whatever of his “la familia” is still around will probably need to prepare for a far bigger battle in Fast & Furious 11. Whatever occurs in its predecessor will probably build up The Fast Saga’s final conclusion. Beyond that, though, it’s unclear what Dom and his group are up to.
