Evil Dead Rise Movie Synopsis

One thing that sets “Evil Dead Rise” apart from previous entries in the series is its focus on female protagonists. While the franchise has always had strong female characters, this film places them front and center. Sutherland and Sullivan both give fantastic performances, and their chemistry as estranged sisters is believable and engaging. It’s refreshing to see a horror film that doesn’t rely on the tired trope of the final girl and instead gives us two strong, capable heroines.

Another standout aspect of the film is its setting. While previous “Evil Dead” films occurred in secluded cabins or remote forests, “Evil Dead Rise” is set in a bustling city.
